Producer: La Rioja Alta
Established in 1890, La Rioja Alta continues to be one of the benchmarks for traditionally produced Rioja wine. The 2011 904 Gran Reserva it is a blend of 89% Tempranillo and 11% Graciano from 60+ year old vines. Â Aromas of pure cherry and plum with hints of leather, earth, and spice. Â Elegant, fine tannins with fresh acidity and a long finish. Â Drinking beautifully now but will age well for another ten years.
