Producer: La Rioja Alta
Established in 1890, La Rioja Alta continues to be one of the benchmarks for traditionally produced Rioja wine. The 2007 904 Gran Reserva is made up of 90% Tempranillo and 10% Graciano from 60+ year old vines. Aromas of pure cherry and plum with hints of leather, earth, and spice. Elegant, fine tannins with fresh acidity and a long finish. Drinking beautifully now but will age well for another ten years.
Food Pairing: Lamb chops with a salsa verde
