Domaine de la Bégude is a picturesque estate in Provence’s acclaimed Bandol region with original plantings dating back to the 18th Century. Respect of the environment is the core value of Domaine de la Bégude they take a low intervention approach from vine to bottle, are certified organic, and use many biodynamic practices as well. The 2016 Bandol Rouge is medium body, with lots of ripe, dark fruits, spice, and herbs. This blend of 90% Mourvèdre and 10% Grenache drinks well now, but can be kept for decades.
