Situated in the historical Valpolicella Classico region of Italy, this wine is a great representation of an age old traditional style of wine using partially dried grapes.  An opulent style, ruby red in colour with aromas red cherries, stewed black plums and hints of clove, tobacco and cocoa. Ripe and persistent tannins and a long finish; this wine will benefit from an hour in the decanter before drinking.
